This season of IPL has created lots of buzzes before its commencement. Now, there is news that South African wicketkeeper Quinton D Cock is out of the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This will be considered as a significant setback for Delhi Daredevils. Cricket South Africa reported this news on Friday. However, De Kock is scheduled to play in the third Test against New Zealand at Hamilton.

According to the report of a news website, De Cock suffered an injury during the second Test match played against New Zealand. The damage has been confirmed in the scan before the third Test match starting on Saturday. He has got permission to play in the Hamilton Test match, but he has been dropped out of the 10th edition of the Indian Premier League. According to Cricket South Africa, Quinton will take at least four weeks to recover, and this is why the Board has suggested that he should not be included in the IPL-10.

South African cricket team captain Faf du Plessis said, “It’s a big game, and Quinton is one such player who can not be removed, I always want him to be on this team. For a long time, he had a problem in his finger. Due to the cold weather in New Zealand, the issue of his finger may have increased as this can be easily seen in his wicket-keeping.”
